License revoked

A Newcastle patrol officer pulled over the driver of a speeding white truck in the 7600 block of Coal Creek Parkway Southeast Nov. 2. The driver, who said he was late for an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, was driving while his license was suspended for unpaid tickets.

 

Shattered glass

Police responded to a reported assault at Castle Creek Apartments, 6900 132nd Place S.E., Nov. 3 after a woman said someone threw a small glass object near her patio. The shattered glass did not injure the woman, and she said she didn’t know who threw it or where it came from.

 

SNHCH?

Unknown suspects slashed the tires, cracked the windshield and spray-painted the words “SNHCH SNHCH” on a car parked at the Castle Creek Apartments, 6900 132nd Place S.E., on Nov. 3. The vehicle’s owner did not know of any witnesses or suspects.

 

Veteran vandalism

A disabled veteran’s U.S. Navy specialty license plate was taken from his vehicle in the Walkers Run Condominiums parking lot, 7453 Newcastle Golf Club Road, on Nov. 8. The vehicle owner said it’s the second time in two years that an unknown suspect took his front license plate.

 

Back in Black

An unknown suspect took four AC/DC CDs and $25 in cash from a car parked in the 7100 block of 114th Avenue Southeast between Nov. 15 and 16.
