Gift card heist
More than $3,500 worth of goods, including $3,000 worth of gift cards to places such as Nordstrom and Pottery Barn, was stolen from a car parked in the 6400 block of Lake Washington Boulevard Southeast between Oct. 15 and 16.
Phone scam
A resident in the 1400 block of Southeast 78th Way reported a suspicious phone call, after talking to a person claiming to be from the King County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 16. The caller said the resident did not show up for jury duty and there was a warrant out for her arrest.
Destination on your left
A $130 Garmin navigation system was taken from a car parked in the 7900 block of 139th Avenue Southeast between Oct. 17 and 18.
Pilfered Prelude
A 1988 Honda Prelude was taken from a driveway in the 7400 block of 116th Avenue Southeast between Oct. 19 and 20.
