The Newcastle City Council will review City Manager Rob Wyman’s preliminary 2016 budget at its Oct. 20 regular meeting.
City department directors will convey their budget needs during a 6 p.m. study session. During the regular meeting starting at 7 p.m., the City Council will offer a public hearing for citizens to comment on the budget.
Other than the recent budget retreat, this will be the first time the City Council truly combs over and discusses the 2016 preliminary budget at a regular meeting.
