Police are looking for witnesses in two separate incidents, after a package was stolen from the front porch of a home in the Milepost neighborhood Oct. 1.
The package was stolen from the 8500 block of 135th Avenue Southeast at about 6-7 p.m. Thursday. During that same time, police said an alert citizen saw suspicious activity in the 7100 block of 134th Court Southeast.
If you noticed anything suspicious at either of these locations during that time, police want to hear from you. They are trying to determine if the incidents are related. Contact Detective Christy Marsalisi at 649-4444 and reference case 15-284901.
The vehicle associated with the theft might be an older red, two-door sedan, police said.
Police are also looking for a kind citizen that found the stolen package and returned it to the owner last night. If you are the good Samaritan, police ask you to contact them and let them know where the package was found.
